Living in apartments for rent near Marquette University can be an exciting challenge, but it also comes with certain responsibilities. Since you won’t be living on campus, you’ll be responsible for getting yourself to school and back every day. And if your car breaks down, you’ll have to figure out another option so you can make it to class on time.
How Can You Make it to Class if Your Car Breaks Down?
Some student apartments have a bus service that leaves for campus every 15 minutes. If your apartment has a bus service, you can wait for the bus to arrive. However, this might mean that you’ll be 20 or 30 minutes late for your class.
You can also try to hitch a ride with a friend or roommate. If they’ve already left for class, you can hire an Uber if you’ve got a few bucks to spare. You can also bike to school if you brought your bicycle along.
If not, there’s only one option left: walking to class. Most student apartment units are located near the university, so you won’t be walking for hours, but you’ll have to leave early to make sure you can make it to class on time. You might also have to deal with crowds on the street and poor weather conditions.
