A faulty AC unit could lead to a lot of discomfort and worry. If you need Boerne air conditioning services, here are a few considerations to guide you along when you look for a service company.
Does it offer emergency services?
Despite plenty of warning signs, a lot of homeowners still find it a complete surprise when their units finally give up the ghost. If you’re the same, then the first order of business is to look for 24-hour emergency services.
Is it trustworthy?
When you put in a call to a service company and ask for a repair technician, remember that you’re letting a complete stranger into your home. That’s why it’s important that you put in a call to a Boerne air conditioning service company you can trust. The last thing you want is a contractor eyeing your electronics or brand-new appliances with dodgy interest.
Are they professional?
When you called the company, was the person on the other end of the line courteous, helpful and polite? Did you feel like s/he was rushing to get you off the phone? Or did the customer service representative take the time to listen to your problems, provide you with the information you need or help you out?
Do they offer warranty?
Not all companies offer one. If you find a trustworthy service company that offers a 1-year labor warranty, give it a try. This can save you on repair costs.
Are they licensed and insured?
Make sure the company has a trade license. Look for insurance liability as well, the Better Business Bureau says. Don’t skip that step. If an accident happens while the contractor is working on your unit, that insurance policy is the one thing that’s going to protect you from liability.
How much will it cost?
Know how much the repairs will cost and what kind of payment options work with them.
